About your Role

As our new CX/UX Lead, you will lead and implement the CX/UX strategy to:

(1) optimize customer acquisition, conversion and retention; 

(2) propose the UI/site functionalities based on customer insights and business needs;

(3) develop multi-channel customer experience management that leverages customer lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment of current experiences including, gathering and analyzing multiple sources of data, mapping out journeys, designing user personas...
  • Design & implement target experiences through a design-thinking and co-creation approach.

  • Optimize experiences that meet our customers’ expectations to bring user friendliness, accessibility and to maximize engagement and sales opportunities.

  • Translate concepts into user/process flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences and drive successful projects.

  • Design inspirational, useful, and usable experiences by placing the audiences first while balancing business and marketing needs.

  • Use a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.

  • Work closely with the wider business to develop solutions and products that drive improvements to key causes of customer pain points.

  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards that will be followed by the Development and Creative teams.

  • Develop the art of usability and interaction design across Fairphone functions through collaboration, tools and methods.

  • Deliver meaningful insight reports to bring to light what is driving the CX, what can be done to improve it.

Your Skills & Experiences

  • You have at least 4 years of UX/UI/CX experience working with web based companies.
  • You have strong experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.

  • You are proficient in visual design and wire-framing tools as well as in Sketch, Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools (familiar with Invision and Craft).

  • You have experience with leading and facilitating creative sessions like design sprints, co-creation sessions and/or other types of multi-disciplinary sessions to tackle design challenges.

  • You know how to work with Google Analytics, Hotjar and how to find a story in the data by extensively analyzing it.

  • You have an understanding of web technologies (including programming languages, network infrastructure, processes, web and mobile application development) to produce technically achievable and efficient interactive solutions.

  • You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

  • You have knowledge and experience in conversion optimization, digital marketing, and/or consumer psychology and research is a plus.

  • You can create and socialize compelling presentations for different levels of the organization.
